1. What are the five motivational reasons for watching sports?

2. How do issues of gender and racial bias manifest themselves in mediated sports? Use one of the theories you learned about in Unit 1 to explain why this should be a societal concern. Can you make the same explanation for why violence and sexist or racist music lyrics should be concerning?
