After reading Potter, Lang, & Bolls (2009) you should be able to answer the following questions:

1. What type of attention is being measured in this study, tonic or phasic ?

2. What memory hypothesis was made by this study? Can you describe the reasoning behind it? Was it supported?

3. Consider the findings from this study, and describe how Dr. Potter could use them to make the audio podcasts of his lectures more effective.
