Teaching is important to me. I've had several great teachers in my life, who instilled in me a love of learning. That's why I've always loved school (is there any doubt?...look at that picture).
One of the great things about being in The College of Arts and Sciences is that I don't just teach students about media industries and the cognitive processing of media messages...I find ways of getting students excited about thinking. Then I have them apply their critical thinking skills to fascinating things--like the media industries and the cognitive processing of media messages.
